The Australians love to let it all hang out. At some level, this makes sense. While the country is covered head-to-toe in animals that can kill you, it’s also really, really hot — and so, the country has developed a culture of barefootedness and shorts that are much too short for polite society.

Of course, this can cause issues — specifically, some places really don’t like it when you walk around in their store barefoot. So what’s a fun-loving Aussie supposed to do? The answer, it seems, involves using just a little bit of electrical tape.
